Muse, a Grand Rapids-based art gallery, curated an exhibition celebrating the release of For Your Amusement, a compilation album created by seven recent high school graduates. Attendees were encouraged to bring headphones and scan a QR code placed next to each artwork, which linked to a corresponding SoundCloud track.
Role
I was commissioned to interpret each song as a single artwork for auction. My approach involved applying digital surrealism to 12 songs, and eight of them sold immediately!
